Most of the Training Providers issue their own qualification; this may be over and above an additional Skills Programme Certificate or National Qualification.

When selecting a practical provider, if you intend to register with DEAT and are not intending to utilise FGASA to attain your Skills Programme Certificate, then ensure that they have THETA accredited assessors and are able to issue THETA accredited Skills Programme Certificates.

Most of the reputable Training Providers are also accredited by FGASA. This means that FGASA reviews their courses periodically and are satisfied that graduates of these courses will be able to pass the FGASA assessments and that the Training Provider offers a professional course and adheres to the FGASA curriculum.

Important Note: By completing a Training Providers course, even though they may FGASA accredited, you will not be automatically FGASA accredited. Only FGASA issues their own qualifications and these are only attainable by Joining FGASA and completing the FGASA assessments (theory and practicals).

However, certain training providers do offer the facility to write the FGASA exams during their course.
